Louise de Pileggi, a brilliant deputy public prosecutor, has always had a complicated relationship with her mother Judith, whom she hasn't seen in 15 years. When she finds herself transferred to the small court where Judith is clerk, Louise becomes her mother's boss. And what's worse, they're going to have to work together on a case that may seem trivial at first glance, but that's going to put their nerves on edge.
