Derby La Norma
Come and enjoy a unique experience on the slopes of La Norma, at the 2nd edition of the Derby de La Norma! Open to all, this event combines competition and fun. You can also take part in disguise, with a prize for the best costume.

One bib to start!
The Derby La Norma is an event where you can challenge yourselves to a timed race down the slopes of the La Norma resort! The aim: to finish the course as quickly as possible!
This high-mountain race is open to all snow sports enthusiasts aged 18 and over, for an exceptional descent of 1,400 meters of negative vertical drop.
Whether you're a skier, snowboarder, telemarker or monoskier, this challenge is for you!
Registration includes participation in the race, a meal and a drink. Registration does not include ski pass and carré neige insurance.
Free ski pass if you use the last lift of the day to access the race.

Program:
o 10 a.m.: on-site ticket office opens + bibs collected - in front of the Tourist Office and ESF.
o 3pm: registration closes
o 4pm: Start of lifts to get to the start of the race - Departure from the Melezet gondola.
o 5pm: Start of the race
! Good plan for accompanying persons and spectators! You can watch the race in several ways!
- Live from a passage of the race at the snow front
- Possibility of being spectators on skis, at strategic and visual points of the race. To do this, we ask you to arrive at the start of the race at the same time as the competitors (before 4:45pm maximum at the start of the race). You will then be taken to these areas of the piste under the constant supervision of ESF instructors. Please note that, for safety reasons, it is forbidden to leave your place before the end of the race!

Our partner Nordica will be present at the event with a Ski Test throughout the day.
It's also possible to take part in the Derby with Nordica skis, so don't hesitate!
Additional welcome
There will be a welcome tent on the day of the event, where bib numbers and wristbands (meals and drinks) can be handed out, as well as any requests for information.

Evolving rate:
10 € until March 26, 11:59 pm,
then €20 until March 29, 3pm.
Rates include race entry, meal and drink. They do not cover the ski pass or Carré Neige insurance.
Ski pass prices at La Norma resort ticket offices:
- Day pass: €21.25 + €2 keycard (on presentation of registration form) excluding carré neige.
- Free lift pass for the single ascent at 4pm during the Derby (upon presentation of registration form).

The day pass is compulsory, except for the last numbered skiers who will take the lifts only for the race (to be specified when registering) and the Carré neige (compulsory).
