Nested in the houses of the village, the church is marked by the tuff spire of its bell tower.

Description

Enter the church through an arched vestibule hidden behind a door adorned with carved thistles. At the end of the elongated nave, find the main altarpiece and its tabernacle which offers you a nice spectacle: twisted columns, statues, candlesticks, reliquaries ... Everything has been done by a native sculptor, except the laying of gold leaves ... made by his daughter!
Another local characteristic: gypsum, which abounds in the region. The vault is decorated with it: its palmettes, cherubs and medallions dominate you, as does the small octagonal dome which is surrounded by balusters painted in trompe l'oeil. Like the current 3D... but baroque version!
