This old road of the Esseillon winds between Le Bourget and Aussois and allows to discover the waterfall and the chapel Saint-Benoît, then the forts Victor-Emmanuel, Charles-Félix, Marie-Christine and Charles-Albert.
The road of this itinerary is little frequented, and its condition is globally good, average in some places.
You will have at your disposal several drinking water points (at the Cascade Saint Benoît, near the Victor Emmanuel fort and three others in the old village of Aussois), two refreshment points (Modane and at the arrival) as well as two repair points (Modane and Aussois).
This itinerary is endowed with an interesting natural heritage, notably the Rocher des Amoureux and the Cascade Saint Benoît. It also has an important cultural heritage such as the Museobar of Modane, the forts of Esseillon, and the center of the village of Aussois.
