Snowshoe itinerary: Le Mélézet

A short, accessible walk, ideal for a contemplative interlude at altitude. The itinerary winds its way between the slopes of La Norma and the forest, offering a peaceful atmosphere and some beautiful views of the surrounding peaks, with the Rateau d'Aussois (3,128 m) and the Rocher de la Dame, standing proudly above the resort of La Norma.

• 1/ At the exit of the Mélezet Télécabine arrival station, carefully head up the alpine ski slope, keeping an eye out for skiers coming down, to reach a place called Le Stade de Slalom.
  2/ 0 h 05 - From this intersection, continue through the forest to Le Saint-Antoine. Take a moment to admire the panorama.
  3/ 0 h 20 - Make a U-turn and return to the Mélezet Télécabine via the same route, taking care when crossing the piste.
