Starting from the magnificent suspended valley of Orgère, this hike in the heart of the Vanoise National Park, invites you to discover one of its treasures: the lake of La Partie, whose waters are infinitely pure and transparent.

Description

As you follow the path up through the forest, let the scent of pine and fir trees caress your nostrils.

In autumn, you will see the sun's rays playing between the branches with the thousand colors of the forest cover.

But in summer, when you leave the forest shelter to enter a more mineral universe, silence is required if you want to have the chance to see the marmots.

Listen carefully: a whistle in the rocks? It is the cry of a sentry who warns the rest of the colony of your presence. Everyone in his burrow! If you remain discreet, perhaps you will see a small head which prudently leaves its hole.

The charming little lake of La Patrie invites you to contemplate the surrounding peaks and the Polset glacier.

The most courageous will be able to push on to the Col de Chavière. Then you will take the way back, because the refuge of Orgère awaits you for a delicious meal. It is the Gault et Millau which promises it to you!
